Case Study: Partner with eMenuCHOICE to Increase Revenue

In a recent meeting with Taylor Richey, VP of Food and Beverage at Civitas Senior Living, we explored his use of eMenuCHOICE Dining Management software and the impact it has had on the team's revenue and operations.

Taylor explained that the eMenuCHOICE features paired with the strong partnership of the eMenuCHOICE team have helped increase revenue, lower costs, and improve both resident and employee satisfaction across all of their properties. 

Civitas' decision to transition to eMenuCHOICE was solidified by the ease of use compared to other POS systems. The integration with Eldermark software also added to the appeal as it provided a smooth user experience and admin system for Eldermark users like Civitas.

"You can see the incremental rise in revenue we've experienced since using eMenuCHOICE," Taylor said as he shared the below chart. "If you can drive revenue and lower costs at the same time, from an operator’s standpoint it’s a no brainer”

It's not just about getting more - it's about giving more too.

By keeping track of the various reports within eMenuCHOICE, Civitas has been able to implement strategic menu strategies that perfectly balance expenses, revenue, and resident satisfaction. Civitas is dedicated to their resident satisfaction and quality of life. With menus that vary on a regional basis and up to 15 personalized entree options per day, Civitas has proven that residents can also benefit from the reduced overhead costs and waste!

The increase in revenue has also positively impacted the staff at Civitas. "It's a lot easier for me to make a phone call to senior leadership and ask for something when I'm able to show our monthly revenue," said Taylor. "We've used it to raise wages, we've used it to buy equipment, we've used it for a lot of things. It's the old saying, 'spend money when you make money.'"
