eMenuCHOICE Featured in Senior Living Executive Magazine Dining Issue

eMenuCHOICE Co-Founder and CTO Matt Stenerson and The Plaza Assisted Living, a senior living organization using eMenuCHOICE that operates six communities in Hawaii, were both featured in the March/April issue of Senior Living Executive magazine, published by Argentum.

In the magazine's annual "Dining Issue," Stenerson and Tricia Medeiros, COO of The Plaza, offer thoughts on trends and developments in senior dining in an article titled Suiting Every Taste: Communities find solutions to provide a rich range of choices and independence in dining.

Medeiros comments on the general importance of food and mealtimes in residents' lives, as well as benefits that come from offering options such as menu flexibility and locally inspired food.

"Japanese, Hawaiian, Korean, Filipino and American cuisines are commonplace and expected in our communities," Medeiros says. "When building menus, it is important that all cuisines are included."

Stenerson notes that communities can increase resident satisfaction and expand choice while controlling dining costs using eMenuCHOICE. He further describes how eMenuCHOICE allows communities and dining staff to track key dietary preferences, allergens and food intolerances while taking resident orders.
